Very happy to hear that the WSO was rescued and all that were involved are also safe. As I mentioned in my last comment, my family and I spent 19 years in the middle East and loved it. Was also in Bahrain to visit friends. All of the religions are now celebrating. Happy Easter and Semper Fi.

We believe was incredibly apt and concise in the fundamental core beliefs that I have been at a loss to define or describe in such an eloquent and solid piece of writing. It's what I've always understood my brothers and sisters in the corps were driven and guided by, though words that completely exemplified my intended sentiment would escape me each time I would attempt to present civilian friends and family members with the fundamental difference between the Marine Corps and everyone else, from pre-recruit young person all the way to retired Marine and keeper of America's "Spiritual Warrior Ethos in Earnest". I will now turn to in attempting to memorize these writings so I may one day sound intelligent and insightful, wise and learned, so certain and unwavering on the next occasion that I have to explain who we are and how we differ. This is where values either become real or stay decorative. “We believe” only means something when it survives distance, uncertainty, risk, and time. Rescue is hope operationalized.
