Compass Points - Unexpected Sightings
Powerful crafts sighted in the air and on the water.

Sightings of powerful new craft are not limited to the sky.
A powerful new craft is being noticed on the water.
Above the New Jersey skies and elsewhere there are numerous credible reports of some kind of powerful drones maneuvering in the skies.
But that is not all, national defense experts are also noticing a powerful new craft in the water.
First, a recent News Nation video reveals that a swore officer along the New Jersey shore reports seeing 50 drones rising from the ocean into the night sky.

Ocean County Sheriff: A sworn officer reports seeing 50 drones coming off the ocean
Summary of Video Transcript:
-- Introduction to the Investigation (2:08–2:29)
Reporter Rich McHugh shares his initial skepticism about the mysterious drones over New Jersey.
His firsthand experience changed his perspective, finding the drones more sophisticated than expected.
-- Drone Sightings and Characteristics (2:30–3:22)
McHugh observes 40–50 drones in one evening, appearing as fixed-wing aircraft with colorful blinking lights, about 8–10 feet wide.
These drones are unlike airplanes or typical drones seen before.
-- Sheriff’s Department Investigation (3:23–4:10)
Ocean County Sheriff's Department launched their own drones to intercept the mysterious drones.
Mysterious drones do not emit heat like regular drones, perplexing investigators.
A sworn officer reported seeing 50 drones rising from the ocean.
-- Coast Guard Involvement (4:11–4:25)
The Coast Guard confirmed sightings of 13 drones with an estimated wingspan of about 8 feet, flying at 300 feet.
Federal agencies like the FBI and State Police have been contacted, but the origin of the drones remains unknown.
-- Unanswered Questions and Message to Authorities (4:26–5:00)
Despite more than a month of reports, the federal government has no answers regarding the drones.
Ocean County officials urge the White House to take the concerns of residents more seriously.
-- Advanced Evasion Capabilities (5:01–5:14)
The Sheriff’s Department used an industrial-grade drone to track one of the mysterious drones, but it easily evaded capture, disappearing into thin air.
McHugh concludes by questioning whether the drones belong to the U.S. military.

Meanwhile, some national security experts are starting to notice some powerful crafts on the water. There is no mystery about where the vessels come from. The crafts are the San Antonio-class amphibious transport docks (LPD) and related amphibious ships. The only mystery is why the flexible amphibious ships have not been more in the spotlight. In his recent article, author, Brent M. Eastwood, reports, "The U.S. Navy Has a New Warship That Could Be Better Than An Aircraft Carrier"
.

.
Look no further than the U.S. Navy’s San Antonio-class amphibious transport docks. This is a relatively inexpensive solution compared to the $120 billion Ford-class carrier program. U.S. Marines feel right at home on these vessels.
More than 633 leathernecks can fit onboard the assault ships. The amphibious transport docks carry a nice contingent of helicopters and landing craft for seaborne operations.
. . . Landing Platform Docks like the San Antonio-class come with their own armaments. They have two 30mm Bushmaster II cannons and two Rolling Airframe Missile launchers to protect against marauding enemy fighters from above.
. . . Moreover, the LPDs can collect intelligence, reconnaissance, and surveillance data with their Next Generation Surface Search Technology. This gives fleet commanders more situational awareness about the enemy activities on the sea and shore. The LPD is a Day One asset that can send the Marines to deliver doom while sitting back and launching aircraft and armored vehicles to break the enemy’s will to fight.

The LPD can also be enhanced with a wide variety of missiles and drones. If the US Navy had more amphibious ships loaded with Marines right now, one or two of the ships could be patrolling the waters off New Jersey finding the source of the "50 drones rising from the ocean." How could the Navy pay for more ships like the San Antonio class LPDs?
.
==============
.
Each Ford class super carrier costs about $13.3 billion each. Amphibious assault ships like the San Antonio class LPD and the Wasp class LHD and America class LHA cost about $1.3 billion. So roughly one Ford class super carrier could pay for 10 amphibious assault ships. Two Ford class super carriers could pay for 20 amphibious assault ships.
. . . Right now, the Navy is planning to invest $26.6 billion to get two Ford class super carriers. Is this a good plan? The National Interest has called the gigantic Ford class carrier "a giant boondoggle that is a large, easy target for China’s A2/AD systems." If the Navy simply delayed acquiring the next two Ford class super carriers, not only would the Navy gain time to see the Ford in action, but the Navy could also use the $26.6 billion to acquire 8 San Antonio class LPDs as well as a dozen new upgraded Wasp/America light aircraft carriers.

The existence of drones in the night skies of New Jersey and elsewhere is a mystery that has not yet been solved. But it is not a mystery why the US needs an updated and enhanced crisis response force of Marines onboard amphibious ships. The reason is there is always another crisis, another challenge, another threat erupting somewhere around the globe and US policy makers need forward deployed Marines always available to deter, assist, and fight.

Yesterday Congresswoman Tenney NY-24 appeared on one of the News Outlets I stream regarding the UAPs/Drone sightings. She mentioned her Son is an Active Duty US Marine Major. Perhaps he has shared his military observations w her regarding the current state of Our Corps.
Hats off to CP for the clever 'clickbait and switch'! You got me..and then linking to the new amohibs...you got me:)
