I agree with Skip Polak. I would just add a thought suggesting we need the right guys & gals - plural - in the right places, and at the right time. Further, I would add our need of support from Friends of the Corps who, while lacking the understanding of T/O&E’s, etc., nonetheless understand history, and the role(s) a robust Amphibious force plays in our sea-faring Republic.
